Distemper Paint is a kind of paint that is made from an oil-based binder. It is popular in regions where the weather is hot, as it can be easily applied in the heat. In addition, distemper dries fast and it is easy to clean up. Acrylic distemper paint is a water-based paint. It does not dry like distemper does. In order for the acrylic to become solid, it requires a chemical process called polymerization.
